It’s a been a very exciting time here lately, as we follow which horses using our products will make it to the Breeders’ Cup races on November 4th and 5th.  At one point we were hoping for a whopping 17 horses, but as things are settling out it has dropped to 12.  Still, not bad.  Especially considering the incredible horses that are among that list of 12 – Havre de Grace, Turbulent Descent, Caracortado, and California Flag, just to name a few. 

It promises to be a very good weekend for horse racing.  So – we at palaMOUNTAINS wish the Best of Luck to ALL of the owners, trainers, breeders, jockeys, and horses who have put so much into getting these great equine athletes prepared to compete, but especially to those who trust their horses to palaMOUNTAINS MyBeauPRO and other quality nutritional products from palaMOUNTAINS.

Havre de Grace put herself in the picture for Horse of the Year honors with a gutsy win in the $750,000 Woodward Stakes (gr. I) over males at Saratoga Sept. 3.  Havre De Grace is trained by Larry Jones who uses MyBeau PRO on his race horses.

Long-term palaMOUNTAINS MyBeau PRO user Larry Jones has been fortunate enough to train some very talented fillies—Eight Belles, Island Sand, Proud Spell, and Wildcat Bettie B are among them. Congratulations Mighty Rule, winner of the Robert S. Molaro Stakes at Hawthorne on April 23 for trainer Roger Brueggemann and owners Scarlet Stable.

Following her March 5th victory in the Grade 1 Santa Anita Derby, heavily favored Turbulent Descent dominated her five rivals in the $150,000 Beaumont Stakes (gr. II) before 18,873 at Keeneland April 17, winning by five lengths.  This was her 5th win in 6 starts.

Caracortado was beaten by just a head to Fluke in an exciting finish in the $300,000 Frank E. Kilroe Mile (gr. IT) on the Santa Anita turf March 5.  Caracortado is trained by Mike Machowsky.
